School Closings

In the event Brunswick Brittonkill CSD must close schools, delay openings or dismiss early due to inclement weather or an emergency, an announcement will be posted on the district website's LIVE feed and Facebook page and communicated on local television stations.

In most cases, we will also alert you the following ways between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. on a school day should a delay or closing occur. If you chose to opt out of these notifications, you will not receive ANY notification from school as you can not select to only opt out of weather related alerts. We do our best to ensure all families and employees of our district have ample time to receive alerts and notifications.
