On Thursday, September 15th, for International Dot Day (based on Peter H. Reynolds book "The Dot") come to school all decked out in your most creative dotted outfits. Polka-dot socks, dresses, shirts, you name it! Students with the most creative dot-inspired wear may receive a little prize from Mrs. Tybush!
Brunswick Brittonkill Central School District will be following the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 for the 2022-2023 school year. If you are sick: stay home. If you are COVID positive: 5 days of isolation and then 5 days of wearing a mask.

We ask that you please be patient with our transportation department during the first week of school. There may be a delay as parents and guardians are permitted to snap photos of their students for memories that will last a lifetime.
Elementary School Supply Drop Off is September 7th from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. This is a chance to unload those fresh school supplies and walk your student down to their classroom.
Reminder: Freshman Orientation is September 6th from 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Please note there were some communications that stated a different time. The above noted time is correct.
Registration is open for the Fall Season for the Tamarac Clay Target Club! The registration deadline is September 12th at noon.
The team will be practicing at the Brunswick Sportsman Club on Wednesdays at 4:30. The season will run from September 21 thru October 26.

The Sixth Grade Orientation and Ice Cream Social was a success! Incoming 6th graders were toured by NJHS members and were able to meet their teachers, tour their wing and get to know the secondary building before the 1st day of school next week!

Two of our Tamarac Elementary students, Blake and Brynn Werger, organized a backpack and supply drive over the summer to support fellow Tamarac Elementary students. We have a number of backpacks filled with supplies curated for each grade level. Blake and Brynn exemplify what it means to be a part of the Tamarac family, and we are so grateful to them and their family for this thoughtful act!

Attention Fall Student Athletes!
All student athletes must have a physical within the last year to be eligible to participate. Please either upload physicals into Family ID or fax to 518-279-3888.
For Athletes who don't have a physical submitted by Monday, August 15th, our school physician will be available to perform physicals in the high school Health Office on Wednesday, August 17th from 9AM-10AM. This is the only date that physicals will be done.
Please call the Health Office at 518 279-4600 Ext 2426 and leave a message that you are planning to have a school physical during that time. Thank you!
Calling all Tamarac Cheerleaders - get ready to show some Bengal Pride at this year’s football games!
Tryouts for the Fall Varsity Cheerleading Team will be held on August 22, 23, 24, and 25, from 10 AM - 12 PM each morning. Please come prepared to learn and practice cheers, jumps, and a new routine with some of our alumni cheerleaders!
