For the past 18 years, the Business Department has been scheduling entry-level mock job interviews for the Career & Financial Management classes. Students learn how to write an effective resume, complete a letter of application and a job application. Then, after learning some effective tips and techniques on how to interview for a job, they actually have one with a faculty volunteer at Tamarac! Following their interview, they are directed to write an effective and professional follow up letter (via email) and after reviewing the letters, they send them to the staff member thanking them for their time and consideration. Some have said, "I really benefitted from this experience. I was really nervous but now I feel more confident about interviewing in the future!"

Brunswick Brittonkill Central School District will be closed Tuesday, March 14, 2023. There will be NO remote learning. Governor Hochul has declared a state of emergency due to the impending winter storm. During executive-declared states of emergency, schools are not required to use their allotted emergency closing days, which means Brunswick CSD will close tomorrow without losing our remaining emergency closing day.
