The high school cafeteria is doing a mini internship with Senior Steven Burdick who is in the Questar Culinary program also. He works 3 hours weekly with our high school cafeteria cook Carrie Brundige. Steven's teaching assistant Greg Kerwath is also instrumental in helping Steven and does a wonderful job along with Carrie.
Steven does a variety of food service tasks like, soup prep, general food prep for the remote meals, kitchen sanitation and now cookie making. Steven says his goal is to work in the Culinary field after graduation probably at a senior facility.
This week at the high school cafeteria we are featuring Stevie B.'s Snickerdoodle Cookie.
