Dear Secondary School Families:
We are closing out the week with some really nice weather; perfect for this morning's 5th grade Moving Up ceremony. Congratulations to the incoming 6th grade! Before we officially welcome the class of 2029 to the Secondary School, we must first say goodbye to the class of 2022 next Friday. Fingers crossed, the weather mirrors today for high school commencement. Please be on the lookout next week in the event we need to make any changes due to the forecast. In the event you cannot be here, the ceremony will be livestreamed on our BSCD events page. Parents/guardians of a senior or an 8th grade student should refer to the letters below for all of the information you need.
A reminder that school will be closed on Monday 6/20 in observance of the federal holiday, Juneteenth. Thank you for your support throughout the 2021-2022 school year. Be well and have a wonderful summer!

“Anything BUT a backpack day!”: Our students got super creative and had a lot of fun with this challenge! Wheelbarrows, shopping carts, hand dollies, bbq grills, and even siblings made it through the doors. It was such a hit with the students that we hope to bring this event back again next year. Great job Bengals!
Bengal Awards: For our final character drawing of the year we were able to draw two winners. Congratulations to Carter Harris and Riley Dahl! Students are nominated by staff for being respectful, responsible, demonstrating social intelligence, and good citizenship. Great job by the many students nominated throughout the 2021-2022 school year!
