Tamarac has been named a NYSPHSAA School of Excellence. This accolade is a remarkable privilege and a genuine reflection of the commitment displayed by our student athletes in their academic pursuits, thanks to the incredible support provided by our exceptional faculty and staff.
The next Board of Education Meeting will take place on Monday, July 31st at 6 p.m. in the LGI Room in the Secondary Building.
While some secondary students and parents are eager to check their upcoming schedule in the parent portal, the counselors would like to pass on that schedules are still being worked on and are not complete. Final schedules will be released the last week in August.

Registration is now open for Tamarac Fall JV & Varsity Athletic Teams. To register, student athletes and a parent/guardian will need to complete registration on the Tamarac Athletics FamilyID page here:

Attention to anyone coming on campus tomorrow (including our summer camp, summer scholars and summer school students): Our contractors will be caulking all the sidewalks early tomorrow morning. Please be careful not to step on it while coming in and out.
Five of Tamarac's Trap Club members are en route to Michigan for Nationals!! (Braden, Clayton, Wyatt, Devon, and Alex). The competition will be held from July 5-9. This is a huge accomplishment for a first year High school team. These students received personal invitations to compete individually based on their high scores and enough were able to make the commitment they are shooting as a team representing Tamarac as well! Good luck!!
If your child plans on taking an August Regents exam (8/16 & 8/17), the deadline for notifying your counselor is Monday, July 10th. This date is important due to deadlines for ordering exams.
Attention Class of 2023 - Information regarding graduation photos!
At this time, we are still planning to hold graduation outside on the football field tomorrow at 10 a.m. The event will be live streamed on our BCSD YouTube page.
Should there be inclement weather, we have a plan in place to shift to an indoor event. The call to shift will be made no later than 9 a.m. We will have staff available to usher everyone to the correct location. Additional overflow guests will be able to view a livestream from the high school gymnasium.

Over the next week, we will be announcing the students who are in the top ten of the Class of 2023. This honor signifies that these students have achieved academic excellence during their years at Tamarac High School. Meet Tyler Sears.
Tyler is the son of Rachel and Dave Sears of Brunswick. In addition to excelling in academics, Tyler participated in National Honor Society. He also participated in baseball and basketball.
In the fall, he will attend Saint Anselm to study finance. Congratulations! #TamaracClassof2023
