Middle school students took part in a Honor Guard Presentation this week in honor of Veteran's Day. Students learn about the folding of the flag, the history of the flag and listened to a rendition of Taps. They also had a question and answer session with the veterans who attended.
Norm Miller was in the Army for two years and 11 months. He later enlisted in the Air Force where he attained the rank of Master Sargent, E-7 as a Recruiter for 16 years when he retired from the Air Force. www.AuthorNormanMiller.com
Laura Lemoine was also in the Air Force. She had four years of active duty. At the time of her discharge, she was a Personnel Specialist, E-4.
Tim Forbes was in the Marine Corps. He is still a Marine because they say once a Marine, always a Marine. Tim had three years of active duty and at the time of his discharge, he was a Corporal, E-4, Field Radio Operator.
