A huge thank you to Red Dog Realty and owner Nicole Wilke and recent Tamarac graduate Nevin Wilkie for volunteering their time this morning to speak to seniors in The Art of Adulting class. Nicole and Nevin talked about the steps in the process of buying a home, the benefits of and how to choose a realtor, what to expect when buying and owning a home, how to find a lender, different types of loans, PMI, as well as the role of attorneys, inspectors, and much more.
This is important stuff - real world stuff - and Nicole and Nevin broke down a complex process for students in an organized way that was straightforward and easy to follow. Thank you so much for talking to our students.
