The students will have the option to take their mask off as they walk across the stage.
Please note the time change: The Moving Up Ceremony will be held at 8:45AM in the District Auditorium. Doors will open at 8:15AM and seating will be first-come, first-served.
The Awards Breakfast will remain as scheduled at 7:30AM with students and staff in the Cafeteria.

It is with great pride that Camp H and R presents their “LUNAR NEWS” Project. The students were required to create a newspaper that was “Moon” themed. This activity was a cross curricular challenge intertwined with science and language arts. In science, they studied the moon and how it relates to earth. In Language Arts, through the Ready Gen reading and writing program, students read all about astronauts, specifically the lesser known Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins, and learned about many aspects of our universe in, “Our Mysterious Universe”. They also read several science fiction stories which were set in space. Camp H and R used research and technology skills to complete these newspapers. They used this interdisciplinary, culminating assignment to display our moon and space knowledge and had fun! Special thanks to Mrs. Tybush for the use of her art supplies and art expertise!
The Brunswick Central School District is aware of press reports that New York State may be relaxing mask rules for students and staff in schools. However, at this time, we have not received any guidance from the NYS Department of Health regarding this change. Once we receive updated guidance, as in all other instances, we will review it and consider any potential changes to current COVID-19 protocols.
